I challenge you to find a better leg press than this one. The people that made Nebula equipment seemed to actually lift weights. First and foremost, this is a center-driven leg extension. These leg extensions are sought after because they do not pull to one side or the other, but are balanced in the tension between the left and right legs. Second, and more uniquely, this machine pivots at the foot as it rises up. This ingensiously takes the tension off of the knee – knee pain is the main criticism of leg extensions generally. Most leg extensions are seen as being very dangerous for people with unhealthy knees. The way this machine is designed, it would probably actually rehab the knee if done with rehab-like weights. I can’t believe more machine makers haven’t tried to copy this design. They must not lift weights. Until they do, this Nebula leg extension remains the best.
